Our design proposes 4 Typologies with a mix of 3 & 4 Storey walk-up apartment blocks. All apartments are 2 Bedroom units with the required amount of accessibility units on the ground floor level. Building plan approval is underway with construction to be implemented in 3 Phases.

Archimara was part of the JTP Consortium appointed to develop this 10 000 unit RDP housing development located on the site of the historical Kagiso Hostels. Care was taken to preserve the memories of the past while providing a better future for residents in the form of quality and affordable housing.

The development will have a positive impact on the community by providing much needed affordable housing along with public spaces and amenities to replace derelict sub-standard hostels. The re-development will promote a sense of community and social cohesion.
